Heather Kollmann 

Heather moved to Lincoln from Parkston, South Dakota and obtained her Bachelors degree in Nutrition and Exercise Health Science from the UNL. Currently, Heather is working towards her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Nebraska - Kearney. She is an ACE-Certified Personal Trainer with more than two years experience and you can find her subbing in at classes with at the Y like Boot Camp, Tabata, Core & More and Water Fit. Heather's training style is adaptable to fit the specific person she is working with. She loves to help her clients reach their goals and enjoys mixing in HIIT and strenth training into workouts.

Zach Nielsen 

Zach obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Nebraska - Kearney and a Masters of Education in Exercise Science from Wichita State University. He has been an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer since 2013. As a personal trainer, Zach places an importance on understanding his clients goals and challenges. He uses that information to develop a health & wellness plan, specified to each person. He believes in training that is much like his triathlon training routines; deliberate, efficient and functional with his clients time and effort in order to get the results they want. Zach is a married father of one and enjoys cycling, running, triathlons, hunting and wood working in his free time.

Thena Kosmicki

Thena is a NETA-Certified Personal Trainer and YMCA-certified group exercise instructor. Growing up, Thena was involved in volleyball, track and softball, so exercise was a part of her life from a young age. Now a married mother of three, Thena finds it important to be a good example of being healthy and strong for her children. She is knowledgeable in strength training and cardio fitness, but she thrives at teaching high intensity interval training, one of the most effective ways to burn calories and build muscle. Another favorite format of hers is with the TRX straps. Helping people reach their health and wellness goals as well as live a high-quality life at any age are her main focuses.

Dolly McDole

Dolly is a Red Cloud, Nebraska, native coming to Lincoln to further her education. She has a Bachelor's of Education degree in Nutrition, Exercise and Health Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She is an ACE-certified personal trainer, Group Exercise instructor, and POP Pilates-certified instructor. She teaches Tabata, Core & More and Power C.S.I. exercise classes. Dolly is also a Y-Lose It coach. "My main focus when working with people is to get them comfortable on the fitness floor. In my workouts, I like to utilize all the equipment to show my clients a variety of ways to exercise while still catering to their needs. My goal is to help my clients create a healthy relationship with exercise and help them achieve a greater sense of wellbeing," said Dolly. She loves spending time with her family, enjoys incorporationg different types of exercise for workouts, baking desserts, reading and playing sports.

Kelly Fink

Kelly grew up in Maryland, but later moved to Nebraska and attended Norris High School. There, he competed in football and track, which sparked his interest to pursue a career in fitness. In May 2015, he graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Fitness Studies. He has been personal training since 2012. He has used his education and experience to help a wide variety of people achieve their goals. He also enjoys hunting, camping, biking and almost anything outdoors.

Jerry Paul

Jerry was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, and spent some time in Los Angeles, California. He attended Central High School in Omaha where he was an All Metro running back. However, his love for strength training started at Hollywood High in Los Angeles his sophmore year. After graduating from high school, he worked in a packinghouse before joining the Omaha Police Force, serving from 1983-2007 as both a field training officer and school resource officer. He attended Metro Tech in Omaha where he took classes in electrical and carpentry work. At the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, he studiend Philosophy. Jerry holds personal training certifications through W.I.T.S. and the Institute of Human Performance (IHP). "I feel it is my mission to serve as many as possible and one of the modalities I use is fitness training," said Jerry.

Tae-Woo Kim

Tae-Woo is a University of Nebraska-Lincoln graduate with a degree in Nutrition, Exercise, and Health Science, and participated in Cornhusker Marching Band (The Pride of All Nebraska) alumni. A ACSM Certified personal trainer, he loves to exercise and eat, but also loves to help others reach their goals in health and fitness. He has a positive attitude all the time, loves meeting people, and he says he is always trying to improve himself. 

Rhonda Kreifels

Rhonda is an ACSM-certified personal trainer and TRX-certified trainer as well as a Group Exercise, Group Cycling and EnhanceFitness-certified instructor. She says: "When I teach a class or personal train, I want people to have a great workout and a great time! I believe in variety and customizing workouts to individual and group needs. I want my clients to develop a lifelong love of exercising that turns into a part of their everyday routine." Rhonda is a married mother of three, who enjoys running, watching her children play sports, boating, reading and movies. 

Christina Mollo

Christina started at the Y in 2015 as a Wellness Specialist working upstairs and has added her Personal Training Certificate through the ACE Program. She enjoys working with people one-on-one and finding the right thing for each person. She is also certified to teach EnhanceFitness and LIVESTRONG at the YMCA. She adds, "At home, I have a husband, three busy kids and I am a runner!"

Samantha Beaubier

Samantha is a Registered Dietitian, Licensed Medical Nutrition Therapist, and has been a AFAA-certified group exercise instructor for 17 years. Her specialties are nutrition, cardio and strength interval-style workouts, group and personal training. She enjoys running and spending time with friends and family, including three children. She enjoys "working out not only for my health but also for my sanity." Her exercise philosophy is to "surround yourself with those that better you, challenge you and are inspired by you."

Jara Goeden

Jara has a Bachelor's Degree in Recreation and holds certifications in CPR, AED, First Aid and Zumba®. Her specialty is Exercise Science. Personal motivations to exercise include family, feeling you get when you're done and self image. Her current fitness regime includes running, walking,weight lifting, intervals, yoga and park workouts. Favorite activities include volleyball, running and playing with her kids. Hobbies and interests include sports, camping and shopping. Jara's exercise philosophy is that she believes everyone likes to workout--it's about working up the courage to try something new and eventually finding an exercise that is right for you.

Jessica Karas

Jessica is certified in ACE Group Exercise Instructor, EnhanceFitness Instructor, LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA Instructor and Martial Arts. Her specialties are functional strength training, core, balance, and flexibility. She enjoys practicing martial arts, art, reading, and renovating houses.

Michelle Schaffert

Michelle is certified in AFAA Personal Training, AFAA Primary Group Exercise Instructor, and 200 hour – Yoga World Reach. Her specialties are interval training, strength training, and yoga. She enjoys spending time with family, cycling and running. 

Terri Shoop

Terri is a certified Wellness Coach, ACE Group Exercise Instructor, ACE Foundations of Strength and Conditioning, CPR, AED, and First Aid certified, and LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA Instructor. Her specialties include coaching for long-term weight loss, group and personal training, strength and conditioning, and cardio endurance. She enjoys "seeing positive transformation in all things," finding new ways to exercise, the outdoors, volunteering, gardening, and re-purposing furniture.
