Child Watch Center - FREE for members!
The Child Watch Center is available to provide care for children ages 6 weeks through 10 years.
Parent or guardian must be in the YMCA facility. Members with Family/ Household memberships may use the Child Watch Center free of charge.
Kidz Club (Northeast)
A part-time recreation program for children of ages 3 to 11. This class provides your child an opportunity to interact with other children their same age. Activities include art, stories, songs, gym games, etc.
Parent or guardian must be in the facility while children are in our Kidz Club program. Call (402) 434-9262 for more information.
Preschool Education (Northeast and Cooper)
This is a licensed program which offers developmental learning experiences for children 3 to 5 years old. YMCA swim lessons and a half hour gym class are included as a part of our program. The program emphasizes the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of each child. Contact Cooper at (402) 323-6400 and Northeast at (402) 434-9262.
School Age Child Care
Adventure Club - Before and After School Care (Northeast only)
Schools are Kahoa, Prytle, Zeman and Meadowlane (at the Y)
This is a state licensed program which provides care for children in elementary school. The program is available both before and after school each day. Activities include indoor and outdoor recreation, games, art, cooking activities, field trips and swimming at the Y. A snack is provided for the children each afternoon. Contact: (402) 434-9262
Fundays (Cooper and Northeast only)
A program will be provided for school age (elementary) children on some of the days that Lincoln Public Schools is not in session. Activities include: gym games, art, board games, movies, field trips and swimming at the YMCA..

Elliott Community Learning Center (Before and After School Care)
The Lincoln YMCA supports and is the lead agency for the Community Learning Center (CLC) at Elliott Elementary School.
YMCA CLCs provide a delivery system that uses the local school as the hub of service. These centers provide safe, supervised before and after school programs, weekend and summer enrichment programs, and many other supportive services, primarily for youth.
YMCA CLCs are administered by the Downtown Branch YMCA.

Summer Programs
Summer Adventure Day Camp (Cooper and Northeast Only)
This summer day camp is a full-time, state licensed program, which provides care for children in elementary school entering grades 1-4. Activities include arts and crafts, music, field trips, group games and swimming at the Y. Teen Extreme (Cooper and Northeast Only)
This summer day camp is a full-time program that provides care for youth entering grades 5-8. Activities include arts and crafts, music, field trips, group games and swimming at the Y. More Summer Day Camps (Cooper and Northeast Only)
- Little Explorers is a day camp for preschool age children, ages 3-5. Participants will experience a different park each day and take part in arts and crafts, hiking, swimming, fishing and a cook out lunch.
- Running Creek is a day camp for elementary aged children. Participants will experience a different park each day and take part in arts and crafts, hiking, swimming, fishing and a cook out lunch.
- Arts and Humanities Day Camp is a day camp for middle school age youth. Participants will get hands on experience with different art forms throughout the week. Some themes may include, Art, Music, Photography, Cooking, Writing and Drama!
