Lessons & Activities

  • Academics - learning letters, numbers, colors and shapes, beginning writing
  • Arts and crafts
  • Science and hands-on learning
  • Active play
  • Story time
  • Music and dancing
  • Circle/large group time
  • Guest speakers and much more

Swimming

There will be four swimming lessons each semester incorporated into our preschool program. There is no additional fee or cost for these classes as they are part of the YMCA preschool curriculum. Our goal in offering these classes is to give our students the opportunity to become more comfortable and confident in the water. During these classes, the entire group will learn about water safety and begin working on skills that can be further developed in our regular YMCA group or private swim lessons.
