6-11-18 Press Release: Lincoln Saltdogs to Host YMCA Day at Haymarket Park

LINCOLN, NE [June 11, 2018] — YMCA Day at Haymarket Park will take place Sunday, July 1, 2018, with a portion of each ticket sale benefiting the YMCA Annual Campaign-Strong Kids.

The Lincoln Saltdogs are set to take on the Gary SouthShore Railcats at 1:05 p.m. Tickets are just $10 for a lower-reserved seat and includes a voucher for a free hotdog and soda. Every ticket sold will go towards helping the YMCA Annual Campaign-Strong Kids, which provides youth in our community with the support they need to learn, grow and thrive through activities like swim lessons, summer camp, sports, and before and after school programs.

YMCA Youth Sports Executive Director, Todd Johnson, shared, “We are thrilled to be partnering with the Lincoln Saltdogs this year. The family-friendly atmosphere and lively environment that Haymarket Park provides makes coming to a ballgame a fun outing for the entire family.”

Lincoln Saltdogs games at Haymarket Park feature pre-game festivities, a play area, a bounce house and on-field entertainment between innings. Families with kids of all ages are welcome to come and enjoy the time-honored tradition of baseball in the summertime.
