July 1-31
Christmas in July is the kickoff to our 2026 Giving Tree initiative, helping local children experience the joy of Christmas morning. Last year, we were able to provide gifts for approximately 1,400 local students at Campbell, Elliott, and Pershing Elementary schools. Christmas in July is all about building sustainable community support to make that impact possible again this holiday season.
From July 1-31, keep an eye out for our collection sites around Lincoln (specific locations listed below). If you see a palm tree, you’re in the right place! Place new, unwrapped toys in our collection bin to help bring joy to a child this holiday season, donate online below, or order a gift online to be delivered to our Administrative Office.

The YMCA of Lincoln leads the school’s Community Learning Center (CLC) program—providing after school care and summer programming to keep students safe, learning and active while supporting their families. This program has helped hundreds of students improve academically and has provided enriching experiences that they would not have had otherwise. We're grateful for your support in bringing joy to the students at our Campbell, Elliott, and Pershing Elementary CLC sites. It truly takes all of us (and more!) to pull it off.
