Kids Night Out

Kids Night Out programs consist of opportunities for kids to have a fun-filled, supervised time at the YMCA while their parents enjoy spending time away from the YMCA, working on projects, going on a dinner date or having just a few hours alone without the help of little hands.

In addition to our Kids Night Out events, some YMCA facilities host Holiday Drop & Shops in December. These are perfect for families looking for time to wrap up all of the things on their holiday to-do lists like shopping, wrapping gifts or getting the house ready for the holidays while their children enjoy a supervised, fun-filled afternoon at the Y.

Register Online or at the Front Desk at least 24 hours in advance. Space is limited for each session.

Required Intake Questions

The Child Watch Intake Questions (See button to the right) must be completed for any child who participates in the Child Watch or Kids Night Out program by the child's parent/guardian before the child may be placed in these programs. After the questions are completed, your child(ren) may participate in the program on a drop-in basis (register ahead of time for Kids Night Out) at any Lincoln YMCA location. Please notify staff at the Child Watch you visit if your child's needs have changed and you have updated these questions. You may also be required to complete additional paperwork at the branch where your child will be participating, if needed.

An authorized adult is required to check children in and out of the program.

Fees & Dates

Activities & Snacks

We plan fun and developmentally appropriate activities for each event. Activities may include crafts, games, gym time, movies, music and dancing, fitness classes, and special activities such as playing in a bounce house or swimming! Special activities are tentative and subject to change. A nutritious snack will be provided.
