Asia's Y Story

My journey started 2 years ago. After having my 3rd son, I struggled to lose any weight and actually put on more. Around his 1st birthday in 2016, I hit rock bottom. I was my heaviest weight, I was stress eating, and depressed! I knew if I didn’t make a change soon, I never would.

I walked into the Fallbrook Y not knowing what I was doing. I thought I’d do some cardio, maybe drop 20 or so pounds; but after the first 6 months, I realized I really loved lifting! I now go about 5-6 days a week. I lift and sometimes do kickboxing. I’ve lost over 30 pounds and gained about 7 in muscle. The YMCA saved me from myself and my husband and 3 boys love going with me!
