FAQs

FAQs

Q: Do you offer reduced rates?

A: Membership and program financial assistance is available through the Open Doors Financial Assistance Program.

Q: Do you have corporate rates?

A: We welcome Corporate Memberships and have a variety of strong Lincoln partners. Learn more on our Corporate Memberships page.

Q: Can I pay cash instead of automatic debit?

A: We accept cash payment in advance for a 12-month period. To pay your membership dues monthly, we automatically debit from a bank account, or any major credit card account on the first of each month.

Q: How do I become a member?

A: Join Online or stop in to any Lincoln YMCA location to join. You will need to pay for your first month and joining fee. Fees will be drafted the first of each month from your bank account or credit card.

Q: Do I have to sign a long-term contract?

A: We never require a contract at the YMCA. All memberships are on month-to-month terms.

Q: Can I visit other YMCAs?

A: Yes. Many YMCAs across the country participate in the AWAY (Always Welcome at YMCAs) program, which allows members from other YMCAs to visit. It is recommended to call a location prior to visiting for specific policies. You can find a directory of all YMCAs here.

Q: Can I bring guests?

A: Yes. We encourage our members to introduce their friends, family and colleagues to the YMCA. Each guest must accompany a Lincoln Y member, 19 years or older. Each guest can receive three free visits to the Lincoln Y and must show a photo ID to check in.

Q: What are your hours?

A: Hours vary by location and can be found on each facility location page. Holiday hours can be found here as well.

Q: Do you have lockers?

A: All Lincoln Ys have lockers available for member use. Members should bring a lock to secure their belongings.

Q: Do you have parking?

A: On-site parking lots are available at the Cooper, Copple Family, Fallbrook and Northeast locations.
The Downtown Y offers reduced-rate parking validation in addition to the first hour free at the Market Place and Que Place city parking garages. Visit or call the Downtown Y Front Desk for details.

Q: Will someone assist me with my workout?

A: Yes. Our fitness staff and certified personal trainers are available for a variety of wellness services including fitness assessments, equipment orientations, set up individualized routines and establish ongoing personal training sessions. Ask YMCA staff about fees for ongoing training.

Q: Do you provide towels?

A: Towel service is provided at each Lincoln Y.

Q: Can I bring my child in while I work out?

A: All facilities have a Child Watch program. Ask your Y for specific information regarding fees and times, or visit the Child Watch page.
Children ages 9 and older may use the Quick Fit Studio with you.
