2009 YMCA of Lincoln Annual MeetingThe YMCA of Lincoln, Nebraska held the 2009 Annual Meeting on Thursday February 4th. We celebrated the many great accomplishments from 2009, and honored one volunteer from each of the six branches as volunteer of year. The YMCA of Lincoln, Nebraska expressed it appreciation to the four outgoing members of the YMCA Board of Directors, and elected nine new members to serve on the Board of Directors. The YMCA of Lincoln, Nebraska thanked the Lincoln community for all of its support for 2009, and we look forward to a great 2010.Activities for the Entire Family at the Lincoln YMCA in FebruaryOn Saturday, February 13th the Northeast YMCA will host a Father and Daughter dance from 6:30pm-8:30pm It's a chance for dads and daughters to put on their Sunday's best and spend some quality times together. Check out our new look, view our job board listing all our current open positions and apply online at www.ymcalincolnjobs.org.You may also follow us on Twitter! 29th Annual MIT Basketball TournamentThe Lincoln YMCA Youth Sports Branch will be hosting the 29th Annual MIT Basketball Tournament on March 13th and 14th, 2010. The tournament will feature over 400 teams from Nebraska & surrounding states. The tournament is open to 4th through 10th grade boys and girls teams with multiple brackets in every grade level. All teams are guaranteed three games with experienced officials. Do not miss the largest basketball tournament in the area.YMCA Activities Means Plenty of Fun this Winter!Before and After School, swimming and swimming lessons, dance, and more.
