Spirit Flag Football League

League Description

Spirit Flag Football is a competitive, coach-select flag football league with an eight-game season. There are no restrictions on player positions in this league and scores and standings will be recorded. Medals are awarded to the first and second-place teams in each division based on the end of the season tournament.

Ages

3rd - 6th Grade.

Registration Information

The registration for Fall Spirit Flag Football League will be available after June 1.

Game Days

8 game season on Thursday and Friday evenings in August through October.

New for 2025: All teams will participate in the end of season Single Elimination Tournament that will be held the in early October.

YMCA Wright Park | 4441 S Folsom St.

Uniforms

Teams may choose their own uniforms or purchase the YMCA Jr. Huskers Reversible Flag Football Jersey (black/red).Jerseys can be purchased for $18 at the park (cash or check only) on game days or at the Youth Sports office (570 Fallbrook Blvd Suite 210) Monday-Friday 9:00am-4:00pm.

Other Equipment

Mouth guards must be worn during participation in Spirit Flag Football. Jewelry is not allowed to be worn during YMCA Youth Sports activities. This includes earrings (earrings cannot be taped). No hard casts/splints are allowed during matches/games.
