Jr. Huskers Summer Micro T-Ball League

League Description

Micro T-Ball is a great introduction to baseball! The six-week season will include a 20-minute practice followed by a 30-minute game each week. Players enjoy modified rules for different ages to provide maximum success. Volunteer coaches will allow everyone to participate with boys and girls in separate leagues. Teams are based on school, grade, and previous team participation.

Ages

Must be 5 years old by July 31, 2027 and not enrolled in Kindergarten for the 2026-27 school year. 

Registration Information

Registration for the Summer YMCA Jr. Huskers Micro T-ball League will be available around February 1.

Game Days

6 week season will be on Saturday mornings or afternoons or Sunday afternoons in June and July.

Lincoln YMCA Members $52 | Community Members $67

Uniforms

T-shirt and hat included in the registration fee.

Other Equipment

Participants will be required to provide their own glove. Players may wear tennis/turf shoes/baseball cleats (no metal spikes allowed). Jewelry is not allowed to be worn during YMCA Youth Sports activities. This includes earrings (earrings cannot be taped). No hard casts/splints are allowed during matches/games.

It is highly recommended that for the 2027 season that participants provide their own batting helmet and bat.
