Please call the YMCA Youth Sports Cancellation Line at 402-434-9211 for all scheduling updates. When games are cancelled a notice will be posted on the website and sent to participants through Playerspace.

The Spirit Basketball Club is a competitive, coach-select basketball program that focuses on fun and player development for players looking to compete. Coaches will have four different packages to choose from that will suit the needs of their team.
Grades
3rd - 8th Grade.
Registration Information
Registration for the YMCA Winter Spirit Basketball Club is now available. All teams that register for the YMCA Spirit Basketball Club are automatically registered in the Winter Gatorade Basketball League.
If you are an individual looking to be added to a team the registration needs to be submitted by September 25.
If you are a head coach or team representative, a team roster needs to be submitted by October 1.
Once the team roster is turned in, the coach will receive a registration link after October 2 to send to their players to register for their team.
Players will have from October 2 - October 10 to register for their team.
Game Days
YMCA Spirit Basketball Club teams will play in the Winter Gatorade Basketball League.
3rd Grade Teams will play on Saturday Afternoons and 4th through 8th Grade teams will play on Sunday Afternoons.
League dates for 2025/2025 season are listed below:
November 15/16, 22/23, December 6/7, 13/14, January 10/11, 17/18, 24/25, 31/ February 1, 7/8, 14/15
Single Elimination Tournament Dates: February 21/22 and February 28/March 1
