Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop & Cheer

Class Description

Whether your child enjoys ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip hop or cheer, this program allows dancers to explore a variety of genres in a fun, encouraging environment. Throughout the fall semester, students will focus on building foundational dance skills, learning proper technique, exploring different styles and developing confidence through movement. In the winter semester, dancers will continue building on those skills while beginning to learn choreography and prepare a recital routine.

Ages

Ages 5-11. Participants are split up into two age categories: 5-7 and 8-11 years old.

What Should My Child Wear?

Your child does not need to wear a leotard to class - shorts and a t-shirt are fine. Most importantly, we want your child to wear something they can be comfortable and active in. We recommend your child wear appropriate footwear in dance class. Tennis shoes or sneakers are fine for our older level hip hop class. For ballet/creative movement, children can wear socks or ballet slippers.
