If you have recently lost weight, struggle to maintain your current weight, or need guidance to make healthier choices, this 4-week program is for you. Maintaining a fitness level is a juggling act and the YMCA wants to help you take the confusion out of it. This program will keep you on track and motivated to maintain your current fitness level.
GLP-1 Lifestyle Training Program
This program is for individuals that are currently, formerly, or preparing to utilize GLP-1 medications. We are a partner in your healthy lifestyle journey to ensure that while you lose weight, you keep your hard-earned muscle and build a vibrant, sustainable lifestyle. Rapid weight loss often causes the body to lose valuable muscle mass alongside body fat. Losing muscle slows down your metabolism, decreases your physical strength, and makes it harder to maintain your results long-term. This program acts as a “muscle shield”, ensuring your weight loss comes from fat while your body stays strong, toned, and energized.
