Jr. Chefs

Learn kitchen etiquette and cooking basics in this hands-on kids program. Youth will build basic culinary skills, incorporating nutritional information and fun food experiments in the hour-long class.  Participants will learn kitchen safety and etiquette, proper measuring techniques, and how to build a complete meal. Recipes prepared by these junior chefs may include chicken stir-fry, no-bake protein balls, avocado brownies and more.

Who: Children ages 9-14
What: 5, 1 hr. session cooking class
When: Offered during most Youth Program session dates throughout the year
