Specialized Training includes a variety of types of group trainings tailored to specific goals. These classes are offered at an extra cost to both YMCA Members and Community Members and pre-registration is required. 



Barre Fitness

Barre-based fitness training is a total-body workout that fuses elements from ballet-based Barre work with strength training and core work. Classes include Barre Boot Camp and Barre Express.

Mobility Training

This training combines traditional yoga positions along with functional range conditioning and core strength to create a unique, flowing workout from head to toe. Special attention is given to hip, ankle, knee, and shoulder mobility.

TRX® Suspension Training is a revolutionary method of leveraged bodyweight exercise. The straps use gravity and your body weight. You can safely perform hundreds of exercises that build power, strength, flexibility, balance, mobility, and prevent injuries, all at the intensity you choose, for people of all fitness levels.

Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the United States – 2.4 million people of all ages and fitness levels play it. The game combines elements of badminton, ping pong and tennis and can be played singles or doubles. Gather some friends or meet new players at a social drop-in session at the Y.

With this small group atmosphere you will become more comfortable in our wellness areas, reducing the intimidation factor.

Yoga & Meditation

Yoga workshops can teach you how to boost your exercise performance, prevent injuries, de-stress or calm your mind. Each workshop allows the opportunity to ask questions and receive feedback. These workshops are open to all levels and allow for you to learn how to best incorporate yoga into your wellness regimen. These workshops are limited in size, so sign up early to secure your spot.
