The YMCA offers many more yoga-based Group Exercise classes for all fitness levels that are free with your Lincoln YMCA membership.

 

 

Yoga for Beginners

Have you wanted to try yoga but don’t know where to start? Have you been to a few classes but want to refine your skills in a smaller group setting? Yoga has greatly increased in popularity, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy! Yoga is a vast subject, therefore one of our goals is to give you an introduction to the physical, mental, and spiritual benefits. Each session will include breath work, breakdown of poses, flow, and restorative rest. We want to give you the foundation and tools to join any yoga class while feeling comfortable and confident.

Partner Yoga

This class is ideal for couples, families, or friends interested in exploring deeper levels of connection through yoga. Learn partner-assisted stretches enabling you to stretch your body and communication skills. Put a new twist on the average night out! 

Each participant will need to register individually. Partners are not required to participate in this class.
