Lifeguard certification is a perfect start to anyone's dreams to become a lifeguard. This class is a fast-paced and challenging program designed to teach and reinforce the fundamentals of lifeguarding. Applicants must be at least 15 years of age to participate in this program. Participants must have also passes the pre-course skills test at least two weeks prior to registering for the Lifeguard In-Class Skill Session. Participants will then receive an email two weeks before the In-Class Skill Session that will direct you to the Red Cross site where you will set up an account and complete the 7.5 hour online learning portion before the first day of class. Participant must present proof of online completion on the first day of class. CPR is included in these courses (participants do not need to register for an additional class).
We also offer Lifeguard and CPR recertification. These classes are designed to review existing skills, go over new updates, and to reinforce lifeguarding fundamentals. Lifeguard recertification is required every two years and CPR recertification is requires every year in Nebraska.
Online registration is available for the Pre-Course Skills Test, Lifeguard Recertification Courses, and CPR courses.
