Lifeguarding

Lifeguard certification is a perfect start to anyone's dreams to become a lifeguard. This class is a fast-paced and challenging program designed to teach and reinforce the fundamentals of lifeguarding.

For those who are already lifeguards and wish to recertify, we also offer lifeguard recertification. This class is designed to review existing skills, go over new updates, and to reinforce lifeguarding fundamentals.

Applicants must be at least 15 years of age to participate in this program. Participants must have passed the pre-course skills test prior to registering for the full Lifeguard Training course. Space is limited. You must pass the pre-course skills test at least two weeks prior to the preferred session. You will receive an email two weeks before the skill session that will direct you to the Red Cross site, where you will set up an account and complete the 7.5-hour online learning portion before the first day of class. Participant must present proof of online completion on the first day of class. CPR is included in the Lifeguarding and Recertification courses (participants do not need to register for an additional class). Please see FAQ section for more information.

A list of pre-course skills test dates and locations is available on the Registration Form.
