1st - 8th Grade | Recreational Flag Football will give boys and girls in 1st - 8th Grade the ability to learn fundamentals and develop into better players and teammates. With one practice and one game played each week during a seven-week season, players will enjoy modified rules based on their age.

Volunteer coaches ensure that all participants play and teams will be based on school, grade, and previous team participation.

Registration for the YMCA Jr. Huskers Fall Recreational Flag Football League is now complete.
Early Registration Deadline: June 30 (The fee will be an additional $10 after the early registration deadline)
Middle Registration Deadline: July 18 (The fee will be an additional $30 after the middle registration deadline)
Late Registration Deadline: August 13
Games will start the week of August 17, 20, 21 and 22 through October for 7 games. Exact day of games for each grade level will be posted after August 4.
1st Grade through 3rd Grade will be played on Mondays, Tuesday, or Thursdays after 5:30pm.
4th Grade through 8th Grade will be played on Sunday afternoons.

The Jr. Huskers Reversible Flag Football Jersey (black/red) is required for Jr. Huskers Recreational Flag Football. Jerseys can be purchased for $18 at the park (cash or check only) on game days or at the Youth Sports office (570 Fallbrook Blvd Suite 210) Monday-Friday 9:00am-4:00pm.

Mouth guards are required. Cleats are recommended but not required. Tennis shoes are fine. Jewelry is not allowed to be worn during YMCA Youth Sports activities. This includes earrings (earrings cannot be taped).
