YMCA Golf Tournaments
Youth Sports Adult/Child Golf Tournament | Fall | Grades 1-12
TOURNAMENT DESCRIPTION: The YMCA Adult/Child Golf Tournament is for all levels of players in a fun, family tournament environment. The adult/child tournament will be an alternate shot format. Prizes will be awarded based on the age of the child. Divisions will be 9 & under, 10 to 12 years old and 13 to 18 years old. We will assign tee times for each group.
DAY: Saturday, October 14
TIME: Tee times will begin after 11:00am.
LOCATION: Jim Ager Golf Course | 3761 Normal Blvd.
FEE: $24 per adult/child team. The fee includes green fees and refreshments.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Registration information for the Fall Golf Tournament is now available. The registration deadline is October 6. Space is limited to 60 Adult/Child teams in the tournament.
TOURNAMENT INFORMATION:
Alternate Shot Format - Youth tee off on the odd number holes and adults tee off on the even number holes. Each subsequent shot is made by the opposite teammate until the ball is holed.
Tees-Youth 13 & up and adults play from the white tees. Youth 12 & under play the red tees.
The One Ball Rule is not in effect. Teams are able to move the ball up to one scorecard in length from the original lie on all areas of the course except the green. Ball must remain in the same condition as the original lie (the rough, fairway, sand bunker, hazard, etc.)
Ties will be broken by scorecard playoff starting with the #1 handicap hole.
