League Description
Micro Soccer is a great introduction to soccer in a seven-week 4 vs. 4 season that includes one 25-minute practice followed immediately by a 25-minute game once a week. Participants use smaller soccer balls for better control and rules are modified to provide maximum success. All players participate and girls and boys are placed in separate leagues. Teams are based on school, grade, and previous team.
Ages
Pre-Kindergarten through 3rd Grade.
For the Fall Micro Soccer season Pre-Kindergarten participants must be age 4 by July 31, 2024.
Registration Information
Registration for the Fall YMCA Micro Soccer League is now available.
Early Registration Deadline: July 1 (The fee will be an additional $10 after the early registration deadline)
Middle Registration Deadline: July 16 (The fee will be an additional $30 after the middle registration deadline)
Late Registration Deadline: August 9
Game Days
Micro Soccer will start on August 17 and 18 for 7 weeks. Games will be on Saturday mornings/early afternoons and Sunday afternoons.

Uniforms
The YMCA Reversible Soccer Jersey (blue/red) is required for Micro Soccer. Jerseys can be purchased for $15 at the park (cash or check only) on game days or at the Youth Sports office (570 Fallbrook Blvd Suite 210) Monday-Friday, 9:00am-4:00pm.

Other Equipment
Shin Guards are required. (Socks must be worn over shin guard). Eye glass strap is also required. No screw-in, baseball, or football cleats allowed. Tennis shoes are fine. Jewelry is not allowed to be worn during YMCA Youth Sports activities. This includes earrings (earrings cannot be taped). No hard casts/splints are allowed during matches/games.
