Jr. Huskers Summer Micro T-Ball League

League Description

Micro T-Ball is a great introduction to softball! The six-week season will include a 20-minute practice followed by a 30-minute game each week. Players enjoy modified rules for different ages to provide maximum success. Volunteer coaches will allow everyone to participate with boys and girls in separate leagues. Teams are based on school, grade, and previous team participation.

Ages

Must be 5 years old by July 31, 2024 and not enrolled in Kindergarten for the 2023-24 school year. 

Registration Information

Registration for the Summer YMCA Jr. Huskers Micro T-ball League is now available.

Early Registration Deadline: April 1 (The fee will be an additional $10 after the early registration deadline)

Middle Registration Deadline: April 16 (The fee will be an additional $30 after the middle registration deadline)

Late Registration Period: After April 17

 

Game Days

Saturdays or Sunday afternoons. The practice/games will begin after June 8/9. Scheduling will depend on number of teams, and the exact day of play will be posted after May 24.

YMCA Wright Park | 4441 S Folsom St.

Lincoln YMCA Members $52 | Community Members $62

Uniforms

T-shirt and hat included in the registration fee.

Other Equipment

Participants will be required to provide their own glove. Players may wear tennis/turf shoes/softball cleats (no metal spikes allowed). Jewelry is not allowed to be worn during YMCA Youth Sports activities. This includes earrings (earrings cannot be taped). No hard casts/splints are allowed during matches/games.

It is highly recommended that for the 2024 season that participants provide their own batting helmet and bat.
