ESPORTS LEAGUE

League Description

Esports league is a video game competition for individuals and teams. Gamers in the league can select which games they would like to play on 1v1 *Smash Bros and Mario Kart Deluxe 8. We will use Discord to communicate in the league.

Ages

4th Grade through 8th Grade

Registration Information

The registration for the Spring League is now available. The registration deadline is on March 15. 

League Days

The Spring Esports league will be held on Monday and Wednesday nights at 5:30pm.  The league will begin on Monday, March 25 and end on Wednesday, May 15.

The program will play Super Smash Bros on Monday nights, and play in a Lincoln YMCA League.

The program will play Mario Kart Deluxe 8 on Wednesday nights, and play in a Lincoln and Omaha YMCA League.

Participants can play both games or they can choose to only play one of the 2 games. An open play session will be held for participants who choose to only play one of the games on the other games match night.

Game Location

The Esports league for the Spring will be held virtually. Discord will be used for communication in the league. 

 

Fees

Lincoln YMCA Members $55 | Community Members $65

 

Other Equipment

Participants will need to be connected to the Internet, have a discord account and have a headset for communication between team members.

 Participants will need to have a Nintendo Switch and the game Smash Bros and Mario Kart Deluxe 8. Participants can play both games or they can choose to only play one of the 2 games. An open play session will be held for participants who choose to only play one of the games on the other games match night.
