My passion for fitness stems from having scoliosis as a child with Harrington rods implanted at age 11. Chronic pain led me to physical therapy, which taught me that movement was the key to staying out of pain. After coaching soccer and writing my own workouts for years, I decided to become a Y group fitness instructor, wellness coach and personal trainer. As my love for coaching grew, I also got certified to teach my favorites: Barre and Pilates. I love to help people make and achieve their goals, accomplish what they didn’t think they could and find joy in movement.

Ben Q

I'm an ACE-certified personal trainer with a bachelor's in Nutrition, Exercise & Health Science from UNL. Inspired by The Rock in 2012, I began training to boost my performance in swimming and soccer but learned that muscle alone doesn't equal function. After burnout from two years of bodybuilding, I shifted to a more sustainable, balanced approach. Now, I focus on addressing weaknesses and long-term health. I’m always eager to talk fitness, so feel free to say hi on the wellness floor!
