Before & After School Registration Information

Registration Dates for the 2020-21 School Year (August 12, 2020 - May 20, 2021) are as follows:

Current Participants with a Lincoln Y Family/Household Membership

February 3 - February 9, 2020

Lincoln Y Family/Household Members February 11-17
Open Registration (based on availability) Open Registration

You will need to sign in or create an account in order to register for Before & After School Programs, if you haven't already. Please note, if you are currently enrolled in a Lincoln Y Program or have been within the last year, you DO NOT NEED TO CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT. Please contact the front desk at any of our Lincoln Y locations if you are unsure of what email address is associated with your account.

As part of the online registration process, all families will be asked to complete the Child Information Questions, required for DHHS Child Care Licensing.

 

Registration Information

Priority Registration is ONLY for those students enrolled in the previous school year program who have a Lincoln YMCA Family/Household Membership (any type).

Sibling Registration - During Priority Registration, families who have a sibling who will need care during the upcoming school year must contact the Program Director via email so that the sibling can be added to the sibling waitlist. If there are openings after Priority Registration ends, siblings will be registered at that time. A prerequisite will be added to the sibling's account so that the sibling can be registered for the program online.

YMCA Family/Household Registration is for those families who do not have a child currently in the program but hold any type of Lincoln YMCA Family/Household Membership.

All families who want to register or be placed on a waitlist must have a zero balance on their YMCA account. Immunization records are not required at registration but will you will need a copy prior to your child's first day in the program.

 

Payments

The YMCA of Lincoln requires monthly program fees to be automatically withdrawn from a credit or debit card. Monthly deductions will begin on August 1, 2020. If your payment information changes, please update your information online or contact your Program Director. The $35 application fee and August program fee will be due in full if registration is received after August 1, 2020.

Monthly program fees do not include or guarantee child care on non-school days. Child care on many non-school days is available through the YMCA's Out of School Days program.

Your membership status at the time of registration determines the fee for the program. If your membership status changes, you much visit the YMCA to complete a Program Change/Withdraw Form at least two weeks prior to the end of the month to amend your fees. Our system does not automatically read these changes so it is important for you to communicate any changes so your fees are correct. 

Financial Assistance is available for those who qualify. You may apply online or at the YMCA Front Desk. Please allow 15 business days for processing.

 

Waitlist Procedures

If a program is full, you may add a participant to the waitlist online. Being placed on the waitlist does not guarantee a spot in the program. Please ensure that your contact information is correct at the time you add your child to the waitlist. Program Directors will contact waitlisted individuals on a first come, first served basis if programs become available.

 

Cancellations

A Program Change/Withdraw Form is required for any change or cancellation at least two weeks prior to the end of the month. Please note: The $35 Application Fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
