ABOUT THE TURKEY TROT
The YMCA of Lincoln Turkey Trot presented by Union Bank & Trust returns for its 15th year as one of the highly favored traditions on Thanksgiving morning. This year, we're moving the race to the streets of downtown Lincoln!
1-Mile Fun Run & Walk/Virtual: $19
5K Individual/Virtual: $34
Family 1-Mile Rate: $72 (Family includes 2 adults 22 years of age or older and children under 21 years of age living at the same address full-time, with a maximum of 5 family members. Additional family entries are $10 per child. Family pricing is not available for the 5K.)
Early Registration deadline is Sunday, November 19.
Late Registration is November 20 through 7:30am Thursday, November 23.
*A late registration fee of $5 per person will be added for entries received after November 19.
All entries received after November 19 will receive a Turkey Trot beanie instead of a t-shirt.
The race is open to the public.
Due to anticipated shipping delays, entries received between November 8-19 may not have a t-shirt available at packet pick-up and will be available for pick-up at the Cooper YMCA at a later date.
Wednesday, November 22 from 4:00-7:00pm at the Cooper YMCA (6767 S 14th St).
Thursday, November 23 starting at 6:30am in the Railyard (350 Canopy St).
Please bring a copy of your registration confirmation with you.
Virtual Trot at Home participants may request to have their packet mailed to them if outside of Lincoln for an additional fee. Deadline for this request is November 13.
RUNNERS...SUPPORT THE FOOD BANK OF LINCOLN!
New this year, we will be hosting a drive for non-perishable food items and hygiene products during packet pickup and on race day. Barrels will be available to drop off any items at the Cooper Y (packet pickup) and in the Railyard (race day). Thank you for joining us in need this holiday season!
RACE DAY DETAILS
Free parking is available at the Pinnacle Bank Arena Festival Lot (901 V St), just north of Pinnacle Bank Area. After parking, walk across the West Haymarket Pedestrian Bridge to the Railyard. All vehicles must exit the lot by 3:00pm the day of the event.
Paid parking is also available in surrounding downtown parking garages.
Immediately following the event, awards and prizes for participants and race winners will be given at the Railyard.
8:00am | 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk begins
8:30am | 5K Race begins
9:15am | Awards on-site at the Railyard
Please stay to the right on the course to allow faster runners to pass on the left. Participants must have their bib number pinned to the front of their clothing & visible. Dogs are NOT allowed on the course. Strollers are welcome, however you must line up to start at the back of the group.
No refunds on entry fees.
All races will go on as scheduled; rain, snow, or cold. Please dress appropriately!
1-Mile Fun Run/Walk - All in-person youth will receive a finishers ribbon
5K Race - Top in-person male and female finishers in each age division will receive a medal and the overall in-person male and female finishers will receive an additional prize.
Age Divisions - 12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
