Join us at Camp Kitaki for a Halloween Hike full of distanced fun! We'll provide an opportunity for you to enjoy Halloween as a family, and the outdoor open space to do it in! Participants are asked to stay 6' from other families and Camp Kitaki staff and to wear a cloth face covering at all times (ages 2+).
Choose a two hour window on Saturday, October 31st, 2020. Each time frame has a maximum capacity to ensure that families are able to space out along the Hike and activities.
- 10 AM - 12 PM
- 1 PM - 3 PM
- 3:30 PM - 5:30PM
While at camp, follow the map provided to enjoy all sorts of Halloween Fun! Activities will range throughout main camp and up through Ranch Camp into our East Camp area and back through the Kitaki forest on the Express Way.
Activities include:
- Wear your costume! (cloth face covering required if it's not incorporated in the costume)
- Trick or Treat at cabins throughout camp
- Make a S'More
- Explore the Natural Play Area
- Challenge a family member to carpet ball
- Hang out in our Hammock Village
- Find critters at the pond
- Take some photos in one of our photo areas
- Play some hoops, gaga or human foosball with your family
- Play yard games and more around the main part of camp
- Purchase a hot chocolate to enjoy ($1 per cup) and peruse some Camp Merchandise at the Camp Store
- Enjoy the fall weather and time as a family!
The Halloween Hike is a family event for all ages. All kids are required to be with a responsible adult age 18+ throughout the time at camp.
Fees: $10 per person age 4 and up | Kids 3 and under are free
This event will feature activities throughout camp. Camp Kitaki has paths and gravel road ways. The terrain at camp is hilly and uneven and may not be suitable for strollers or persons with limited mobility.
