Each year, Elliott and Pershing Elementary are supported by the YMCA of Lincoln and its community as we collect and provide gifts for each student. In total, the YMCA Giving Tree touches over 600 students, and it truly takes all of us (and more) to pull it off.
Here's how to give in person:
1) Now through December 1, select an ornament off one of the trees in a YMCA of Lincoln Branch.
2) Purchase an age-appropriate gift for $20 or under.
3) Return the UNWRAPPED gift(s) to the Front Desk at any Lincoln Y location or the YMCA Administrative Office by Friday, December 1.
Prefer to shop online? Order your gift and gave it delivered to the YMCA Administrative Office:
1) Select an ornament below. Purchase an age-appropriate gift, print and attach your ornament, and drop off the gift at any Y branch or the YMCA Administrative Office at 570 Fallbrook Blvd. Ste. 210.
2) Log in to Amazon or another online retail site and have your gift mailed directly to the YMCA of Lincoln, 570 Fallbrook Blvd, St. 210, Lincoln, NE 68521.
The YMCA of Lincoln leads the school’s Community Learning Center (CLC) program—providing after school care and summer programming to keep students safe, learning and active while supporting their families. Students are able to partake in CLC programming at Elliott at no charge. This program has helped hundreds of students improve academically and has provided enriching experiences that they would not have had otherwise.
