Spirit Flag Football League

League Description

Spirit Flag Football is a competitive, coach-select flag football league with an eight-game season. There are no restrictions on player positions in this league and scores and standings will be recorded. Medals are awarded to the first and second-place teams in each division.

Ages

3rd - 6th Grade.

Registration Information

The registration for Fall Spirit Flag Football League is now available.

If you are an individual looking to be added to a team registration needs to be submitted by July 16.

If you are a head coach or team representative, a team roster needs to be submitted by July 16. 

Once the team roster is turned in the coach will receive a registration link to send to their players to register for their team. 

Players will have from July 18 - August 9 to register for their team.

A minimum of eight players is required to register a team.

Game Days

8 game season on Thursday and Friday evenings starting August 15/16 through October.

Uniforms

Teams may choose their own uniforms or purchase the YMCA Jr. Huskers Reversible Flag Football Jersey (black/red).Jerseys can be purchased for $18 at the park (cash or check only) on game days or at the Youth Sports office (570 Fallbrook Blvd Suite 210) Monday-Friday 9:00am-4:00pm.

Lincoln YMCA Members $62 | Community Members $72

Other Equipment

Mouth guards must be worn during participation in Spirit Flag Football. Jewelry is not allowed to be worn during YMCA Youth Sports activities. This includes earrings (earrings cannot be taped). No hard casts/splints are allowed during matches/games.
