YMCA PGA Jr. League

League Description

YMCA PGA Jr. League (formally Team Golf) is offered as a team format golf program that will play four 9-hole team competitions and four practices with a PGA Professional coach. YMCA PGA Jr. League serves as a fun, social and less stressful approach to learning to play on the course in a league structure. The program is part of the national PGA Jr. League. Each team has a Head Coach for practices and events. Rules are modified to make golf fun and easy. YMCA PGA Jr. League participants will receive an informational letter detailing meeting time and location approximately ten days before the start date. 

Format

Two-person scramble. Juniors must be able to walk nine holes. Scoring based on two-person team. Teams will compete in the YMCA/Lincoln City Golf League that will be held at Jim Ager Golf Course.

Ages

Ages 6-13

Registration Information

The registration for the 2026 YMCA Jr PGA League is now available.  The registration deadline is on May 8.

There is a registration limit of 20 participants per golf course.

YMCA of Lincoln Members $175 | Community Members $190

Holmes Golf Course Team: YMCA/Lincoln City Golf League will be on June 11, 25 and July 9, 16 at Jim Ager Golf Course. The tee times for the league events will start after 3:00pm.

Uniform

PGA Jr. League home and away 2 polos and a practice shirt are included in the registration fee.

Also included in the registration fee is a hat/visor, drawstring bag, bag tag, PGA Jr. League Membership, Nebraska Junior Golf Membership ( which includes a Youth on Course Card), 4 team practices led by a PGA Professional and staff, and 4 events in the YMCA/Lincoln City Golf League.
